Arvin, better known in the clubscene as Funk Avy has been djing for almost 7 years. He started honing his skills at the legendary Kemistry in Malate. He later became the resident DJ in Club Halo spinning tech-house and techno and playing live electronica, mixing effects into his sets, incorporating samples and drum machines and turntablism. His “We Love Manila” EP was signed by French label Fusion Recordings, making him one of the first Filipinos to be signed by a foreign record label. His original productions have come out in several compilations released internationally such as Fashion TV Winter Session 05/06, Fashion House and the Best of Mega Techno.
